1. Information We Collect and Process

Documentor operates under a decentralized database design where your documents remain strictly on your local device hardware profiles. However, to facilitate essential functionality, limited categories of data are managed as follows:

A. Documents, Scans, and Files

All photos, physical page scans, imported gallery images, text configuration logs, and PDF files you scan or store within Documentor are processed strictly on-device. We have absolute zero access to your document library attachments, images, or metadata records.

B. Device Lock & Authentication Metrics

Documentor utilizes your system architecture's native Android Keyguard and Biometric Prompt APIs to allow secure unlock capabilities. The application does not store, collect, or transmit your fingerprint template strings or lock screen PIN hashes. All biological recognition processes run independently inside Android's secure hardware enclave.

C. Account & Synced Profile Data

When you register or activate an optional account session profile, minimal parameters are cataloged to assist with application indexing states:

• Local Vault Isolation: All locally cached image bitmaps and file paths are isolated inside the app's secure private directory, unreachable by outside software payloads.
• Password Vault Configurations: Master vaults and credential text items are bound to device-level keys. Because we maintain no cloud bypass keys, if you forget your master document password, the encrypted contents cannot be restored by us.

3. Third-Party Services & APIs

Documentor integrates limited third-party tooling protocols solely to run critical application backend hooks:

1. Google Play Billing API: Processes your ₹149/Year Premium tier payments over secure transaction layers governed by Google Play's standalone policies.
2. Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM): Delivers local alert contexts and system upgrade notifications directly to your phone's notification manager.
3. Update Check Service API: Periodically requests check configurations via documentor.rubyinfo.tech to identify system app changes or active seasonal offers. No unique user telemetry metadata is passed during this connection.

4. Children's Privacy

Our application service does not deliberately harvest or organize records from children under the age of 13. Since zero files or raw scanning metadata reach our backend layouts, we do not monitor or maintain age distribution metrics across document repositories.
